Nukoud is an independent news and information platform covering Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This page describes the editorial standards that govern our reporting and the process we follow when errors are identified.
Editorial Independence
Nukoud’s newsroom operates independently of commercial and affiliated interests. Advertisers, sponsors, and affiliated entities have no influence over news selection, reporting, or editorial judgment. Where relationships exist that a reader should know about, we disclose them in the article and on our Disclosures page.
Sourcing & Accuracy
- We prioritize primary sources: regulatory filings, exchange announcements, fund prospectuses, issuer statements, and on-the-record interviews.
- Market data is sourced from recognized providers. We aim to label the as-of date on any figures that change over time.
- Claims about performance, flows, or fees are checked against issuer and exchange disclosures before publication.
- Anonymous sourcing is used sparingly and only when the information is material, cannot be obtained on the record, and has been corroborated.
Verification
Articles are reviewed by an editor before publication. Breaking news may be published with a clearly marked initial summary and updated as additional reporting is confirmed. Significant updates carry an updated-at timestamp.
Conflicts of Interest
Contributors disclose personal holdings and affiliations that are relevant to their coverage. Coverage of entities affiliated with Nukoud’s founders or related companies is disclosed in the article and on the Disclosures page. Nukoud does not provide investment advice.
Corrections Policy
If we publish a material error of fact, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are made in the article itself and noted at the bottom of the piece with a short description of what was corrected and when.
How to request a correction: email corrections@nukoud.com with the article URL, the specific passage in question, and the source supporting the correction. We aim to respond within two business days.
Updates vs. Corrections
Non-material edits (typography, formatting, minor clarification) may be made without a correction note. Edits that change the meaning of a factual claim are treated as corrections and are noted on the article.
