International Securities expands Tabadul access to Amman Stock Exchange

International Securities is expanding its access to Jordan's capital market through Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange's (ADX) Tabadul platform, giving its clients access to the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) effective September 27, 2026. The brokerage says the move builds on its existing participation in Tabadul and broadens the markets available to its clients.

How Tabadul Is Expanding UAE-Jordan Market Connectivity

The development follows the launch of the electronic link between ADX and ASE through Tabadul on June 1, 2026. Since then, the network has expanded further, with the Iraq Stock Exchange becoming the latest exchange to go live on September 29. The addition gives Tabadul investors access to Iraq's equity market, which, as of August 2026, had 103 listed companies and a market value of $21.7 billion, according to ADX. Tabadul now connects 11 exchanges representing more than $1 trillion in combined market capitalisation, with more than 700 listed companies and over 11 million registered investors, highlighting the platform's growing role in cross-border market access across the region. Tabadul uses a mutual market access model, allowing investors to trade securities on participating exchanges through eligible local brokers, subject to each market's trading and regulatory requirements.

What Amman Stock Exchange Access Means for GCC Investors

The expansion comes as Jordan's equity market continues to attract international participation. Non-Jordanian investors held 46.2% of ASE market capitalisation at the end of August 2026, according to the exchange, with institutional investors, companies and funds accounting for 32.7% of the market.

On September 27, the ASE General Index rose 1.25% to close at 4,176 points, while trading value reached JD10.6 million.

For eligible GCC investors, the development provides a more direct route to Jordanian equities through regional market infrastructure. However, trading remains subject to applicable market rules, KYC requirements, and broker arrangements. It also reinforces Tabadul's role in connecting GCC markets with exchanges beyond the Gulf.
