Where did Shariah ETF money go in Q3?
Shariah-compliant ETFs and ETPs tracked by Nukoud now hold $66.46 billion, and investors added $4.66 billion so far this year. But the money isn’t moving where you might expect. Equity funds drew most of the year’s inflows, while gold led the latest month. Sukuk is in net inflow for the year but turned negative in September. The GCC hosts more listings than any other region yet holds just 3.3% of assets, at higher fees.
Nine new Shariah ETFs also launched this quarter, from Riyadh to Istanbul to Jakarta.
The full report breaks it all down: equity, sukuk, commodities and a dedicated GCC section, with fund-by-fund data on assets, flows, fees and performance for all 77 tracked listings.
